We live in a digital age where most of us couldn’t get through an hour without our smartphone and the internet. Technology offers many benefits – convenience, accessibility, and flexibility. Teletherapy is no different.
Online therapy can offer the support, guidance, and growth you seek, all from the comfort of your couch. Our secure and confidential virtual sessions provide flexibility, from scheduling to connecting. A combination of online therapy and in-person sessions at one of our two New York locations is also an option.
Wondering what it’s like? Our virtual therapy sessions take place over our HIPAA-compliant online platform. Before your session, your therapist will send you a reminder email, as well as a secure link for your appointment. From there, it’s as simple as logging on.

individual therapy
In individual therapy, you’ll work one-on-one with a therapist in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment to reach your goals. This tailored approach allows for personalized guidance, exploration, and support.
At COBB, our therapists are trained in a variety of approaches and modalities including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based therapies. And because of their varied backgrounds, experiences, and approaches, we’re able to match you with a therapist best suited to you and your individual goals.
Sessions are 45 minutes and occur weekly until you and your therapist decide on decreasing the frequency of your sessions.

couples therapy
Couples therapy offers an opportunity to take a step back from the fast-paced day-to-day and focus your attention on your relationship. It’s a time to communicate more effectively, find resolution for conflicts, deepen your emotional connection, and further cultivate the foundations for a resilient, healthy relationship.
At COBB, we work with couples in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment to help you both reach your goals. As with individual therapy, each couple comes to therapy with their own unique story. Therapy can be a great tool for addressing current conflict. But it can also be a chance to develop behaviors and build strategies for maintaining a healthy relationship.
Sessions are 60 minutes and occur weekly until you and your therapist decide on decreasing the frequency of your sessions.
