Sharing your deepest fears with a stranger can be scary, jarring, and disorienting. This is why my therapy style relies heavily on the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. However, when these conversations arise, we have the opportunity to create a safe and healthy environment to examine, interrogate, and empathize with these parts of ourselves. We all deserve a soft place to land, and my goal is to support you in building a foundation that you can navigate with confidence, calmness, and empathy.

Modality and Approach

The heart of therapy lies in building trust and truly understanding each other. My job is to get to know you, your dreams, and your fears, and then find the best way to work together based on your goals and needs. I use a mix of different approaches, like Internal Family Systems, person-centered therapy, harm-reduction techniques, motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic methods. I also weave in mindfulness and grounding exercises whenever they fit, so that you can leave each session feeling grounded and ready to take on the world.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I’m a lifelong animal enthusiast who firmly believes in the healing potential of pet companionship. My interests span across various fields including science, neurology, and botany, all driven by a curiosity about the workings of our world. Growing up in California undoubtedly influenced my pursuit of passions. I prioritize flexibility and balance in life, striving to immerse myself in nature whenever possible to observe its wonders. And, admittedly, I have a soft spot for indulging in mindless TV binges and spontaneous trips to Target.
