My therapy style is collaborative and client centered, to create a nonjudgmental space to examine your patterns, feelings, and relationships with curiosity and compassion. As a former student of religion, I believe that pain is a part of life, and that we as human beings can deal with pain by creating a narrative and understanding it. Together, we can explore what is and is not working for you in these narratives, create meaningful change, foster resilience, and a greater sense of purpose.
Modality and Approach
I believe in tailoring sessions to each client’s needs. I draw on tenets of Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy to understand how your personal history informs your present. I believe in a holistic approach that prioritizes your sense of well-being and self-knowledge.
Self-Care Statement
I love to take long walks through the city with no particular destination in mind and see what I discover along the way! The connection with nature, my body, and others helps me feel renewed and reenergized.
