I bring authenticity, compassion, patience, and humor to my work as a therapist. I hold a deep appreciation for the mutual trust this work requires, and for the struggle and joy that come up in the therapeutic process. I want to honor your unique experiences and concerns that have brought you to therapy. I value the bravery it takes to get started or continue the journey. My background as a writer and educator informs my therapeutic work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life transitions, relationships, and questions of identity, creativity, and purpose. No matter where you find yourself, I’d like to meet you where you are. Overall, my goal is to support the most important relationship you have: a loving and trusting one with yourself.
Modality and Approach
We all come to therapy with our own perspectives, challenges, and strengths. I use an integrated, tailored approach to meet your needs. My therapeutic approach is strengths-based and integrative. I draw from psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and play therapy in sessions with younger clients. I maintain a strong commitment to making you feel safe and seen in therapy.
