Are you searching for meaning in your life? I’ll help guide you to fulfillment, while gently challenging you to make the necessary changes needed to better your life and relationships. My passion is helping people feel a greater sense of control over their life by providing them with the tools needed to better manage themselves and be more engaged with the world around them. Through my perspective as a person with a disability, I have been greatly influenced in my belief that the personal is political — our experiences are correlated to our position in society.  Therefore, I see my work through the lens of social justice and an anti-oppression framework.

Modality and Approach

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method to therapy or life in general. My work is customized to your specific needs, and at its core, my work is based on the connection between interpersonal relationships and one’s social and cultural environment. The approaches that I use most often are Narrative Therapy, Gestalt and Existential Psychotherapy, Systems Models like Group and Family Therapy, as well as Executive Coaching strategies that integrate Mindfulness, Performance Coaching, and Positive Psychology.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

Reading has always been the one thing I have done for my own mental well-being. Whether it is non-fiction for purely the sake of learning, or fiction to escape from the world around me, engaging in this process is something that I use as a ‘passport’ to leave all the stress behind and immerse myself in a world that brings me joy.
