Due to this, I thoroughly believe that therapy cannot be effective under a “one-size-fits-all” perspective. Modality and Approach

My overall approach to therapy is rooted in a trauma-informed perspective. My goal as a therapist is to assist you in strengthening your overall emotional awareness and sense of self. We will also be working closely to develop and maintain skills that will not only assist you in a clinical environment, but in your everyday life. To achieve this goal, I utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness techniques.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I take time during each day to explore new music. I try to challenge myself to find a new artist or genre by the end of each week. Listening to music is a truly immersive experience for me and helps me “tune out” my stressors. After listening to the right album, I feel recharged and ready to tackle almost anything.
