I use a person centered approach to co-create a safe space for my clients. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your life, emotions, and body. I lead with compassion and remove judgment to create a safe space and build a supportive and authentic relationship. Together, we will work to understand how the past influences the present and target self-limiting beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. Together we can overcome those beliefs and obstacles that keep you from becoming your most authentic self.
Before deciding to become a therapist I previously worked in the music industry and technology. I am intimately familiar with the stressors and uncertainty that come with major life transitions and will help you uncover the resources to keep you grounded and moving forward. My previous work has shown me how to communicate and collaborate with many different personalities and I’ve had the opportunity to mentor others to promote their confidence and power
Modality & Approach
I use an integrative approach, tailoring treatment methods to your unique needs. My work is trauma-informed, strength based, and affirming. I encourage emotional expression and have an embodied approach to help you gain insight into yourself and use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamics, Somatic Experiencing, and Mindfulness techniques in order to help you unlock the mind-body connection.
What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental health and well-being?
To support my mind-body connection, I like doing some form of tactile art practice, I enjoy knitting when I’m on the go, and doing some form of yoga or weight-lifting helps keep me focused, centered, and ready to take on the day.
