Therapy with me  is grounded in genuine human connection. My approach is non-judgemental, collaborative, and I actively provide compassionate feedback. The safer and more empowering our relationship feels, the more effective our work can be. By focusing on fostering lasting self-compassion and building concrete, healthy patterns, we will work towards how you want to show up in the world everyday.

Modality and Approach

With compassion, genuine curiosity and a pinch of humor, I believe in tailoring a uniquely individualized therapeutic approach that can bring out your most authentic self during sessions. Understanding the different hats we wear in our lives, I’m mindful of your cultural background and life experiences that make you unique. I will focus on providing trauma informed care with empathy and mindfulness. To meet your unique needs, I draw from a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) skills and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I like to take long, aimless walks while listening to music. Walking meditation helps me release my thoughts and feelings while allowing my body to focus on the present moment. I also enjoy cooking myself a nice, traditional Korean dish when I feel particularly far from myself.
