Sessions with me will be warm and friendly so we can build an authentic and trusting relationship in our work together. I take an integrative approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs and strengths.
Modality and Approach
My therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory, with a focus on understanding how early experiences shape current behaviors and emotions. No matter how we approach a challenge my approach is always trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally sensitive, prioritizing safety, trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. Together, we can create an alliance to achieve insight, growth, and empowerment.
What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?
I derive peace and joy from cooking, crafting elaborate playlists, and caring for my little dog. I also wholeheartedly believe in the mind-body connection, and the ritual of changing into my comfy pajamas is very grounding for me – honoring my daily need for comfort and rest.
