Making the decision to seek the help of a therapist is a big deal for many people. Congrats on taking that first step! My work is collaborative and client-centric, often weaving humor, play, and creative arts into sessions. I offer compassionate care while also gently challenging my clients to make necessary changes to better their lives and relationships. I am passionate about helping young people to feel embodied, empowered, and connected to themselves and others. As I believe the personal is political, my work is always approached through the lens of social justice, and anti-oppressive frameworks.

Modality & Approach

Because everyone has their own unique needs and desires, I use an integrated approach to therapy tailored to the individual. My approach to therapy is strengths-based, anti-oppressive, affirming, and intersectional in nature. I most often use psychodynamic therapy, EMDR, and play therapy in sessions. I also help my clients integrate mindfulness-based practices, and skills drawn from CBT.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

Everyday, I make sure to incorporate a mindfulness-based practice into my morning routine. Whether it’s a guided meditation, grounding exercise, or simply stretching for at least 5 minutes, I try to start my day with the mind-body connection. I am also a performer and life-long lover of the performing arts. I love attending live theater and dance performances, as well as performing and teaching improvisational comedy in NYC.
