I use a strengths-based, relational approach so that each client has the space to tell their story, discover new paths, and reach a deeper understanding of themselves. In creating a therapeutic relationship based on mutual respect and trust, I hope to be a companion to each client’s journey towards self-actualization, offering support and guidance as we collaborate on goals for a brighter future. As a bicultural therapist, I use an anti-oppressive stance in supporting clients to parse through their cultural identities and explore the roots of beliefs and behaviors.

Modality and Approach

I take an eclectic approach to therapy and believe that our work will be enhanced by adapting any modalities I use to your needs. Though I generally work from a psychodynamic and attachment-based approach, I incorporate elements of cognitive behavioral (CBT), solutions-based, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) interventions to empower each client and enhance their coping toolbox.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I believe cherishing those small, quotidian moments helps me get through each day’s stresses. I love to unplug and go on long walks, get lost in a good book, and have some hearty laughs with friends and family!
