You’re not one-size-fits-all — your therapy sessions shouldn’t be either! In our sessions together, you can expect my therapeutic style to be warm, empathetic and person-centered. I recognize that every client brings a different story to session. You are the expert of your own experience, and I will take the time to understand how we can collaborate together to work on your own personal therapeutic goals. We will work to help you develop new tools, process your experiences, emphasize your strengths, and celebrate each victory along the way.

Modality and Approach

My approach to each session will be unique to each individual that presents for therapy. Through an intersectional feminist, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed lens, I will adapt to your specific needs by utilizing an eclectic therapeutic approach. This approach can involve evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and behavioral activation, with an emphasis on developing coping strategies and highlighting strengths. Our work together will be done in a collaborative way to help you uncover the harmful narratives you may be telling yourself and to support you as you begin to reclaim your history and rewrite your story.

What is one thing you do daily that supports your mental and emotional well-being?

I am an avid reader, and getting lost in a good book is something that I adore doing on a daily basis to support my mental well-being.
